Spring Meeting 2013
The Spring Meeting will take place on 21 June 2013 at the University of Amsterdam. This meeting is devoted to a book by Hans Lindahl (UvT) entitled ‘Fault Lines of Globalisation: Legal Order and a Politics of A-Legality’ (Oxford University Press) to be published in the fall of 2013. In the first part of the meeting Hans Lindahl will present the main argument developed in his book. Subsequently, Lyana Francot-Timmermans (VU), Stefan Rummens (KUL) and Marc de Wilde (UvA) will discuss Lindahl’s main argument. In the second part of the meeting a case on the secession of Quebec will be discussed that plays an important role in Lindahl’s book. This case will be discussed by Hans Lindahl, Tamar de Waal (UvA) and Wouter Werner (VU). Next to the presentations, the VWR dissertation prize will be awarded during this meeting.
