by Admin on July 17, 2018

The organisers of the Literature and Law session within the third OSL Research Day (Groningen, October 12th, 2018; https://www.oslit.nl/invitation-to-the-3rd-osl-research-day-oct-12-2018-groningen/) would like to invite you to submit an abstract. The main theme of the session will be ‘Authority and Interpretation’. They welcome submissions investigating a variety of related topics, including for instance the authority and authorship of texts in Law and Literature, legal interpretation of literary works, the authority of literature in law, exemplarity and normativity, etc.

The session is open to all scholars interested in the subject; PhD candidates and early career researchers are particularly encouraged to submit a proposal. Abstracts should be 250 words max., and should be emailed to Dr. Alberto Godioli (a.godioli@rug.nl) before September 1, 2018. Each abstract will be subjected to a process of blind peer selection. Authors will be informed about the status of their proposals by September 15, 2018.

Questions regarding this Call for Papers may be directed to Dr. Alberto Godioli (a.godioli@rug.nl) and Dr. Florian Lippert (f.j.lippert@rug.nl).
