NJLP omslag.inddThe Netherlands Journal of Legal Philosophy (previously known as Rechtsfilosofie & Rechtstheorie) is an international, double-blind peer reviewed journal which aims to encourage the study of legal philosophy, legal theory and the foundations of the legal sciences (sociology of law, anthropology of law, etc.). The Journal publishes articles and reviews in Dutch and in English and is published by Eleven International Publishing (Boom Juridische Uitgevers) (ISSN 2213-0713).

NJLP has three issues per year and a total volume of around 300 pages (per year). Every year, one of the three issues is devoted to a renowned international author. Both this special issue and all other issues older than one year, are available in open access.

The NJLP also organises the biennial international NJLP conference.

Members of the Netherlands Association of Legal Philosophy automatically receive a hard copy of the Journal.
