VWR PhD-conference – 20 November 2026 – Radboud University 

The Netherlands Association for Philosophy of Law (VWR) is organizing a PhD conference on Friday, November 20. The aim of the conference is to offer young scholars working in the broad field of philosophy of law and legal theory the opportunity to present their research and engage in discussion with other PhD candidates and senior researchers.

The conference will take place on the Radboud University campus and is being organized in collaboration with the RU’s Department of Philosophy of Law. The conference languages are Dutch and English. The conference will start with lunch and end with drinks.

If you are writing a dissertation in the Netherlands or Belgium and would like to pitch your research, please send an email to: R.H.Bos@tilburguniversity.edu. In your email, briefly mention the subject of your dissertation, the subject of your presentation, and the number of years you have been conducting research.

Please note: there are only a limited number of places available in the program. Selection is therefore not excluded.

The practical organization is in the hands of Renetta Bos (Tilburg University and Utrecht University) and Ronald Tinnevelt (Radboud University).
