Call for participation

We would like to invite you to the workshop ‘Emergencies and Exceptional Law’ that will be held on Friday 20 September 2024, from 10:30-17:00H at the Study Centre of the Open University in Amsterdam (7th floor of the OZW-building), organized by the Open University in collaboration with Ghent University.

Hans Lindahl (Tilburg University/Queen Mary University of London) will kick off the day by giving a lecture on ‘the politics of a-legality’. Five doctoral researchers will respond to his lecture and relate his theoretical approach to their own research in short presentations. Afterwards, there is room for questions and discussion. In the afternoon, two parallel sessions will be held with (at least) two presentations each.

Participation is free; lunch and drinks are kindly sponsored by the Open University.
